Student Council

A student council is a representative body of students elected by their peers to address
issues, organize activities, and serve as a liaison between students and school
administration. It is typically formed in schools, colleges, and universities to provide
students with a voice in decision-making processes and to foster leadership skills and civic
engagement among students.
Student councils serve as a vital link between students and school administration,
promoting student involvement, leadership development, and positive change within
educational institutions. They empower students to take an active role in shaping their
school environment and contributing to its improvement.
Every year at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalya Narsinghpur, student council is formed through a
fair selection process in the month of July and the elected students are handed over the
responsibility in the Investiture Ceremony.
